Hey all,
I’m sorry Hathor left you hanging so precariously, we last left her having an absolute conniption fit ripping off her cowmask and stomping it to the ground. And then…then I got totally sidetracked and have been working furiously to start an ALL NEW PROJECT, a new comic to be exact.

Announcing Mama-is.com, it’s Hathor without the mask, it’s Mama! She’s got all the attitude of a goddess, with the spectacular normality that is a mother. She’s going to fight all the same battles, discuss all the same issues, be outraged over all the same outrageous things. And yes, she will bare her chest for a cause. She’s a mother of three, the wife of one, the Mama who’s going to save the world.

I know you’ve got questions, so here’s some answers…

1. What happened to Hathor? Is she okay? Yes, Hathor is okay, you may not have noticed this, but Hathor is just me, in a cow mask. True, true. I’ve just stomped the mask to the ground, but I’m not hurt at all. Didn’t feel a thing.

2. Can I still call you Hathor? Yes, I answer to Hathor, Heather, Mommy, and Hey Cow Lady! now you can call me Mama, too.

3. I’ll miss you! Shucks, I’m still here, I’m going to be making fabulous Mama comics over at Mama-is.comthree sometimes four times a week, maybe more! You should visit Mama-is.com and sign up there for my all new newsletter so you don’t miss a single comic! Hurry, there’s cool stuff ahead!

4. Are you going to take down the cowgoddess blog? Nope, thecowgoddess.comwill stay here, there are close to 500 (maybe more?) comics in the archives and I’m going to randomly post them on the blog. So keep your subscription to thecowgoddess.com because you don’t want to miss waking up to Hathor’s antics, she’s been brightening your day for 6 long years, she can still make you smile ;o) And, please keep spreading thecowgoddess.com around in the world (just because it’s old to you doesn’t mean some other newly pregnant mama doesn’t need to see them), and there’s more Hathor books on the way!

5. the new comic kind of scares me, is she always going to look so Angry? The first comic, Mamais an introduction, so I made her extra wondrous, the Mama that you’ll see in the comics every day will be much more, simple…don’t worry.
