What a great idea! I love making things that are sentimental for my kids! And I can’t seem to donate my slings to other people, because they’re so sentimental!

Aw. That’s so sweet. I’d do that for my big girl, but she still uses her sling to carry her toys around. I think she’ll use that sling for random things until it falls apart. But I should make her something like that soon. It’s nice to mark phases of growing with positive and loving symbols. She won’t let me call her “baby” now that I’m pregnant.

That’s just beautiful. I donated my slings already, but you give me a great idea to find other things from my girl’s babyhood that I can turn into memory pillows.

You could even make the pillow out of the sling, if your sling is big enough. I’m thinking about buying a new ring sling for my new baby just so I have this option later

This is a wonderful idea!!!!!
I”m letting a friend borrow the sling for her little baby right now. 
I used slings with my first two, so I might do this for them. But I used wraps with my third. Maybe i’ll make something out of the fabric.
