Nowadays the way a woman gives birth is complicated…it involves frantic travel…machinery…blinky lights and beeping noises…as well as a support staff of 4 or 5 people maybe more…and happens in a ’sterile’ environment.
Yet it never occurs to us to ask ourselves, Have our bodies really changed so much?

The Way Women Gave Birth…
At the beginning of time the way that women gave birth was simple…for a woman’s first birth she would be quietly and unobtrusively attended by their mother (or a mother-figure)
But for her next births, the woman would prepare a quiet, secluded spot and once labor started she would go there…and birth her babies [...]
